One of the best in its weight., February 12, 2012 By  T. Sobotka "GReg" (Charllote, NC) - See all my reviews    This review is from: Mountain Hardwear Hooded Compressor Insulated Jacket - Men's (Apparel) I have had the Patagonia R2, nano puff pullover, and DAS parka and I have to say that this coat is one of the more versatile. It is not as warm as the DAS but it is MUCH warmer than the nano puff pullover. It is definitely a 3 season coat but unless you are climbing Rainier in the winter you really wont need anything else, especially considering how much more a coat for that application would weigh. The only dissapointment I had was that the jacket is completely wrinkled all over. I thought maybe once I took it out of the shipping bag and hung it up that it might help smooth it out, however, thats not the case. I can't iron it, I wish the online pictures would have shown the jacket as it really is." So if your looking for a jacket that looks like you just dug it out of your suitcase or under a pile of clothes and looks wrinkled this is the jacket for you.
