It keeps moisture in, keeps foreign objects out. This fits perfectly, is reasonably well-made, is light-weight, and if you need a shield when the Zombie apocalypse happens, this just might save your life (grin). Buy this product if you need it. I purchased it in conjuction with Bayou Classic CI-7404, 4-Gal. Cast Iron Jambalaya Pot, Tripod Stand with Foot Pads, and 2 Lift Hooks. Alternate Uses - Can be used a symbol for a drumset, buy two and clang them together and scare the mess out of your spouse and lastly it can be used as a shield for Medievil fighting.
