My trusty Model 425 has served me well, but I always have had problems cooking at medium and low temperatures. So when I saw this model at a local store, I decided to give it a try. The battery-operated igniter sure makes firing up the stove easy. The low BTU central burner distributes the heat evenly across a large griddle or frying pan. It was very handy to have this central burner to simmer the food at a lower temperature if needed. After eight days of camping, I'm impressed.
