Pretty much a "Why didn't I think of that?" kind of design.Overall, I love it...once I modified it a bit. My issue with it are the legs on the bottom. Yep...we need those to help stand off the ground or to provide stability in soft earth. HOWEVER...the legs are permanently fixed to the bottom and are not adjustable. The fixed leg issue it my biggest grip. It's a pain to pack efficiently when you've got four prongs sticking out and catching on everything in site. I drilled them out and used some round-top 1/4" bolts and nuts in place of the legs. This allows to remove the legs, invert and re-attach them, and eliminate the snag issues from the original legs. If I didn't have to do the extra work, it would be five stars. The legs, all by themselves, dinged it two stars for me. Other than that...LOVE IT! |
