I recently took it back out of the box after buying two different boat mounts and a cover for it and found that the lid had heavy rust spots on it that wouldn't polish off. I thought that marine stainless steel wasn't supposed to rust. I called the factory and all they could offer was the recommendation that I buy their cleaner (with no guaranty that it would work) or buy a new one - not what I would call very good solutions. I did purchase the mount for it but it doesn't fit in our rod holders. It looks like a great grill however and everyone I know who has one raves about it. Make sure you check the dimensions of your holder first. On line it looks like it would fit but our rod holders are a weird shape (Sea Ray). |
