Very easy to assemble, and it's a bit larger than I expected it to be which is a good thing. I'm 6' and can very comfortably lay lengthwise inside without touching either side wall.It's also very portable and will be a breeze to pack in our luggage. This will be a welcome addition to our vacation! Only negative: Carry bag is not super high-quality construction so I'm planning to re-enforce the carry strap before we tote it around for a week. Single stitching where the carry strap meets the bag is likely to fail after several uses. I also agree that it provides more than adequate shade and space inside. This product, however, does not work at all on the beach with the ocean breeze. In fact it acts like a parachute, making it impossible to keep it safely or comfortably on the ground. I tried it inside and in the backyard where there is no wind and it works great, but it is not useful at all when faced with direct sea breeze. I thought the "windows" might allow the air to go through, but they do not. Once we figured out how it was suppose to be put together it was really easy. The tent was bigger than i had expected and gave us great shelter from the wind (it was February, so it was a bit chilly). I really liked the pockets on the inside for keeping things like your keys, phone or ipod safe from the sand. I would definitely recommend this product. |
