Although it came beat up and dented in a couple of places, my husband was able to straighten it out. We re-painted it with high heat paint (cheaper then sending it back) and took it with us camping. It works really great since so many campgrounds have removed the firepits. The fact that it folds up small is a plus as the storage in our Avalon is minimal at best.

This is very will built and is easy to put together. It is a little bit smaller then we wanted so we will get one more. The wood that we bought from the store fix very will. This puts out a lot of heat. Taking it down and putting it back takes very little storage room. Love it! If you are looking for a large fire place this is not it. As a BBQ this is great for a family of two with kids. A dinner for two will fix very will. I recommend this for the people on the go. This fits in a car and Rv.

The first one of these lasted about ten years and we bought a replacement last year. This is the best little charcoal grill for camping or a day at the beach. It folds up into its own little compact unit with the lid clipped to the base. The fire sceen, legs, grill and charcoal grate all fit neatly inside and there is even room for some smaller cooking utensils, (fork, spachler and tongs) If I could critize it anywhere it would be that the grill height cannot be adjusted above the charcoal so you have to control the heat by the amount of charcoal you use. (too bad...get used to it) After dinner you can pull off the grill, and put on the fire screen and add some wood for a great, safe, campfire. True, you're not going to build a roaring bond fire in the thing but logs 12-14" fit very nicely. You can easily cook hamburgers or steaks for a family of four on this grill. It definately is a great easily portable way to add to your summer fun.
